ORAL MEDICINE Diseases of soft tissues of the mouth are very common. On soft tissues are shown sings of many general and systemic diseases. Almost there is no person who has never in life had a disease with signs on the mucosa of the oral cavity.
Important for diseases of the mouth, is that the signs appear first in the oral cavity and then in other parts of the human body.Secondly, the signs may appear, at the same time, in the oral cavity and other parts of the human bodyThird, it may go the other way - in the human body and then in the oral cavity. All this is important for diagnosing of the disease.
The oral cavity diseases are the following ones: gingiva, lip, tongue diseases, salivary glands, gangrenous processes in the mouth, aphte, viral infections, fungal infections, allergic reactions, skin diseases with signs in the mouth, blood diseases with signs in the mouth, tumors in the mouth, endocrine gland disorders, etc.

Prim. Mr. sci. Dr. Momčilo Simić was born in 1949. After completing secondary school, in 1968 he enrolled in the Faculty of Dentistry in Belgrade from which he graduated in 1974. In 1986, he finished specializing in surgical treatment of periodontal (gum) diseases and soft tissue diseases, and dental pulp diseases. He became primaries in 1992 upon the commandment of Serbian Medical Society and the decision of Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia. In order to improve his professional skills, he also completed training in oral implantology and received the certificate. One of the training professors was professor Lang, world famous implantologist from Bern. He received master's degree at the Medical Faculty in Kragujevac in 1998 and so became a Master of Medical Sciences. He has appeared both as author and joint author of more than fifty professional papers published at republic level. He owns dental practice called “Parodont” in the narrow center of Kragujevac, in 10/II-3 Miloja Pavlovic street.
