Oral and mucogingival surgery images
Oral surgical procedures apply at:
- Chronic periradicular infection (granulomas, cysts);
- Impacted teeth (a tooth that is not grown);
- Infections in the oral cavity (gangrenous teeth, gangrenous roots that are left behind, injury of soft tissue and bone, etc.);
Treatment is conservative, surgical, and in combination.
Conservative treatment is done with antibiotics, tetracyclines, etc., (capsules, ampoules in the form of injections). Together with them cold compresses are applied.
Surgical treatment includes: tooth extraction, incision (external and internal) and resection of the roots of teeth.
- At healing the wounds after tooth extraction. It may be an early and belated wound healing. In both cases, the surgical treatment of the wound is applied, where the wound edges are ever closer to one another (and may be natural and suture). For the normal healing it is necessary to ensure a healthy coagulum that best protects the wound from injury and infection.
Dental practice ''Parodont” includes all of these oral surgical services that are essential in our practice.
Mucogingival anomalies do not produce a normal picture in the mouth. Due to this they can retain food in certain parts of an oral cavity, so the oral hygiene is unsatisfactory. Such a situation in the mouth favors the emergence of gingival infection and destruction of the supporting apparatus of teeth. There are surgical procedures to eliminate these anomalies:
- Frenectomy (removal of higher incorporation of the frenulum);
- Surgical processing of the vestibulum deepening (vestibulum of the mouth);
- Apical repositioning of the mucosa flap
- Lateral repositioning of the flap (bare root coverage)
- Transplantation of the gingiva (SMAT).
All of these surgical procedures are processed in the dental practice ''Parodont ''.
