Dental implants provide an advantage in comparison to other prosthetic options. First, they look and function like natural teeth, and second, replace teeth without sacrificing the adjacent teeth. Implants will assist in preserving the alveolar ridge, stimulate local bone and there will be no bone resorption. Titanium behaves neutrally, there is no allergies and body accepts it well.
The advantages of replacing one tooth with an implant are those that neighboring teeth do not have to be ground, and it is especially important to avoid this at the front teeth. Gingiva is in a good relationship with the crown and neck of the tooth, which creates optimum conditions for the sustainability of the implants.
Upper jaw: four missing incisors are replaced with four implants. Lower jaw: four missing incisors - only two implants are installed. Premolars and molars: each missing tooth is replaced by implant. At denture, implants can be carriers and participate in the stability of the denture.
In addition to high professionalism of dentists in the installation of the implant, important is a good production of prosthetic work. This is done after 6-8 weeks after implant installation. Maintenance of such a prosthetic device is important (ideal oral hygiene, controls).

IMPLANTOLOGY
The branch of dentistry that deals with the installation of dental implants. It is a foreign body (titanium), which is built into the jawbone and after a certain period of time creates a strong connection with the bone. A crown is placed on the implant, bridge girder, or as an anchorage for the prosthesis. .
Prim. Mr. sci. Dr. Momčilo Simić was born in 1949. After completing secondary school, in 1968 he enrolled in the Faculty of Dentistry in Belgrade from which he graduated in 1974. In 1986, he finished specializing in surgical treatment of periodontal (gum) diseases and soft tissue diseases, and dental pulp diseases. He became primaries in 1992 upon the commandment of Serbian Medical Society and the decision of Ministry of Health of the Republic of Serbia. In order to improve his professional skills, he also completed training in oral implantology and received the certificate. One of the training professors was professor Lang, world famous implantologist from Bern. He received master's degree at the Medical Faculty in Kragujevac in 1998 and so became a Master of Medical Sciences. He has appeared both as author and joint author of more than fifty professional papers published at republic level. He owns dental practice called “Parodont” in the narrow center of Kragujevac, in 10/II-3 Miloja Pavlovic street.
